Meet your new Tax Team: White Collar, Unbuttoned.
Steve and Kevin started working together in 2014 when they were both at a Central Texas oil and gas company; Kevin was the Controller and Steve was the Chief Financial Officer. Seeing a gap in accounting services for small- to medium-size businesses, they set out in 2016 to create a company that could support growing businesses and the individuals that run them.

Kevin received his BBA in Accounting in 2005 from Texas State University, and worked his way up from Accountant and Auditor positions at several large corporations and accounting firms before joining with Steve to form Scott & Aderholt. In addition, Kevin is a partner with Church Business Support, a company in Cedar Park, Texas. The part he really likes about public accounting is getting to know people over time. He got into this business because of that relational element. Outside of work, Kevin is active in his church, serving as an Elder and overseeing their finance team. He and his wife, Brandi, have two children – Anna and Avery – and Kevin enjoys listening to Dwight Yoakum, watching football, and mountain biking.

Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1989 from Louisiana Tech University. He held accounting positions at several energy companies prior to meeting Kevin in 2014. All the personality tests he’s taken indicate he’s a good fit for what he does – showing him to be analytical, strategic-minded, and entrepreneurial. He also knows how to talk with people in their different roles in order to understand their unique needs, and considers it a privilege to be able to speak to clients – from the founders to the forklift drivers – about their particular situations. Steve and his wife, Jerri, have three children and two grand children.
Logan Graf, CPA
The newest member of the team, Logan graduated from Texas Tech University in 2013 with a Master of Science degree in Tax Accounting. He began his career working in the taxation area for a large regional accounting firm, prior to joining Scott & Aderholt. He sees his role at the company as helping Central Texas business owners navigate tax rules and regulations. With a desire to become a thought leader in tax issues, you will see more content on the Scott & Aderholt website written by him. When he’s not concentrating on “all things tax-related,” Logan focuses on exercise and staying fit, including mountain biking with company partner Kevin. He also enjoys serving foster and adoptive families at his church, The Austin Stone Community Church, as a Deacon. He and his wife, Riane, have a baby girl, Rowan, and he likes to work on restoring his 1965 Mustang in his spare time.
